Cruz Beach Boardwalk
The
Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is the site for Hot Rods at
the Beach and features many rides, including the famous
Giant Dipper. It offers games, restaurants, shops, the
Casino Fun Center and Neptune’s Kingdom miniature
golf course. The Boardwalk is located at 400 Beach Street
and is open weekends and holidays through November, and
the Casino Fun Center and Neptune’s Kingdom are
open daily, with the exception of December 25. The 24-hour

Scarborough
Lumber
Scarborough
Lumber and Building Supply has been operating since 1968
and has stores in Ben Lomond, Boulder Creek and Scotts
Valley (including beautiful Scarborough Gardens) and Scarborough
Ace Hardware in Scotts Valley. Owners Mike and Alvin Scarborough
promise competitive prices and excellent customer service
at their stores. Alvin used to cruise Beach Street in
the 60’s and wants to be a part of the continuance
of that tradition. Scarborough Lumber is open seven days
a week, Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.,
Sat. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sun. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Santa
Cruz Title Company owner Tom Kisling loves hot rods and
the fact that the proceeds of this show go to kids so
became involved with Hot Rods at the Beach. This company
has been in business since 1977 and offers residential
or commercial title insurance, escrow services, exchanges,
refinancing, subdivisions and foreclosures. The main office

Anthony’s
Auto
Craig
Stenberg, owner of Anthony’s Auto Dismantling, is
a major sponsor of Hot Rods at the Beach because he likes
the opportunity to give back to the community. Craig volunteers
his time year round to the planning of the car show. Anthony’s
has been in business for 28 years and offers auto dismantling
services and sells new and used auto and truck parts.

Meyer Painting
J.
J. Meyer of J.J. Meyer Painting enjoys being a major sponsor
of Hot Rods at the Beach because it’s a not-for-profit
car show and the proceeds go directly to scholarships
for industrial arts students. He’s been in business
nearly 30 years and offers painting services for residential,
commercial and industrial buildings and projects. J.J.

Rittenhouse
Foundation
The
Rittenhouse Foundation, formed in 1997 by Bob and Sharon
Rittenhouse, has been a sponsor of Hot Rods at the Beach
since 1998. Bob Rittenhouse is one of the original coordinators
of the car show and is a year-round volunteer. The Foundation
contributes to education and supports young people involved
in athletics in our community.
O’Neill’s
Surf Shop
O’Neill’s
has been a major sponsor of Hot Rods at the Beach since
its inception. O’Neill’s offers wetsuits,
a wide variety of surfboards from all over the world,
clothing for men, women and children and rents wetsuits,
surfboards and boogie boards as well. O’Neill’s
will have a tent and booth at the car show selling Hot
Rods at the Beach apparel both Saturday and Sunday. O’Neill’s
Surf Shop is located at 1115-41st Avenue, Santa Cruz;

Kragen
Auto
Kragen
Auto Parts has been a sponsor of Hot Rods at the Beach
for five years and is proud to contribute to an event
that benefits a scholarship fund for industrial arts students
in Santa Cruz County. Kragen offers import and domestic
auto and truck parts and accessories at their stores located
in Santa Cruz, Watsonville, Scotts Valley, Freedom and
Capitola. They are conveniently open every day, including
evenings and Sundays.

We
would like to welcome our newest sponsor Mapleton communications:

are in charge of all the radio advertising for the Hot
Rods At The Beach car show. On Sunday Oct. 8th, they will
